Orlando’s race toward 100M visitors will happen within a decade
Orlando is one of the fastest growing cities in America. When it comes to tourism, Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando and other attractions continue to draw an increasing number of visitors to the region on a yearly basis, reaching a staggering 72 million in 2017 — the most visitors a U.S. destination has ever welcomed, according to Visit Orlando.
The Grove benefits from this robust tourism market, especially given the proximity to Disney World and resort-style amenities that are available for both guests and owners.
If that rapid growth continues, the region could hit the 100 million-visitor mark within 10 years — as long as investments in the industry continue to lure tourists with new and exciting additions, according to the Orlando Business Journal.
That uptick in travel could mean huge economic potential for a region where tourism touches every industry in some way. Business have already taken note of this growing trend, which requires three key actions in order to flourish: building more hotels, adding more new attractions and improving the way tourists get to Orlando.
